[New Day] Suzaku looked around the big empty place and smiled a little. "This is kind of cool.." Compared to the barracks and the Ashford Academy back home, this was pretty quiet. He frowned a little when he thought of the Academy and Nunnally, but in the end he just sat at the desk that had his name on it. It made him smile.  |

Walking in to the police department for the second time, he noticed again how empty it seemed. "Hey!" he called, noticing the only other person in the place sitting at a desk. "Are you..." he quickly tried to remember the name Naruto had given him. "Suzaku?"

Suzaku blinked, standing at attention. "Huh?" He had to blink again to comprehend the question. "Um, yeah, that's me. Suzaku Kururugi. Can I help you?"

"Nice to meet you," he smiled, nodding his head in greeting. "Hmm, well the Hokage said I had to talk to you. I just signed up to be a police officer," he explained, pointing his thumb at himself.

"No, no." He waved his hands in front of him in a "no" motion. "I didn't think anyone would apply. Crime's sort of at a minimum here." The shinobi seemed to have a handle on that.

Raion shrugged. "I figured I'd need some way to pay for my apartment and stuff. Besides, it can't stay quiet forever, right?" he answered. And there wasn't many other jobs where his skills could come in useful.
