Miranda leapt at Faye, her scythe summoned, and automatically she swung her scythe at him as if she wanted to stab him in the face. (If you don't understand, refer to Hidan from Naruto)

Instincts kicking in, Faye dodged each of the attacks, taking a few steps back after he did to summon his bow and arrow. "Can't you go easy on me, ma'am?"

"I won't severely injure you, if that is what you mean." Miranda's stony expression didn't change as she changed the direction of her scythe, the blunt end swiping at Faye's legs to knock him over.

"YIPE!" He hopped over it at the last moment, a little freaked out. Miranda was so fast. "I see why they called you the Grim Reaper now..." He was playing defense! There had to be some better way to do this... As he jumped over her scythe, he aimed his knee at her face, formulating plans as he did when repairing machines.

Miranda squinted, blocking with her elbow in an effort to push him back. He was catching on...good. This would count as training later. "Now then...on to the bigger things." She held her hand out, "Perish." A purple flame flickered on her fingers for a moment and then leapt off, scurrying across the floor. If it touched Faye he'd be parylazed.

Faye dodge rolled around the arena, fleeing from Miranda's magic. "Gotta think, gotta think, gotta think..." He smashed a part of the ground and flung it at her spell. Hopefully having something its path would delay it. Then, he pulled a couple of small orb shaped objects out of hit pockets. "Fire in the hole!" He may not be good at magic, but mechanics- especially things that blew up or set things on fire- were his specialty.

Miranda's eyes widened as she spun her scythe around in fast circles so that they exploded upon impact, not harming her, but she missed one, which she had to quickly dodge to the side to keep away from the explosion.
She hissed as her shoulder was nicked by part of the blast, but otherwise, she just kept at Faye. "You can't outdo me with strength."

Miranda side stepped away from the toy. "Tsk." Her scythe penetrated the armor, shoving it out of the way. She held out her hands and closed her eyes. "Charging at 10%"
